CLP (Cell Loss Priority) - an explanation

Bit in the ATM cell header that indicates two levels of priority for ATM cells. CLP=0 cells are higher priority than CLP=1 cells. CLP=1 cells may be discarded during periods of congestion to preserve CLR of CLP=0 cells.
